We at the New World Technology SAGL Group, publisher of the Vodevolution and Vodevo products, are aware of the importance of respecting confidentiality for our customers.
By doing this, we want to be more transparent about how we collect, use, transfer and store your personal information.
The following privacy policy applies to all solutions that we publish.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016 and the amended Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the M.E.I Group informs you of the following points:
ARTICLE 1 – Personal data
When you register or manually register for our service, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, telephone number and email address.
When you browse our sites, or write us an email through the form, we also automatically receive your computer's IP (Internet Protocol) address, which allows us to obtain more details on the browser and operating system you are using.
ARTICLE 2 – Purpose of the treatment
When you register to use our service, we assume that you agree to our collection and use of your information for this purpose only.
If we ask you to provide us with your personal information for any other reason, such as marketing purposes, we will directly ask for your explicit consent, or we will give you the option to refuse.
The New World Technology SAGL Group may process your personal data:
(a) in order to provide you with the information or services you have requested (in particular: sending of newsletters, commercial offers, guides, white papers, etc.); and/or
(b) for the purpose of collecting information that will enable us to improve our Site, products and services (including through the use of cookies);
(c) to be able to contact you about various events.
ARTICLE 3 - Recipient
The New World Technology SAGL Group is the only recipient of your personal data. These are never passed on to third parties, with the exception of third-party subcontractors used by the New World Technology SAGL Group (contact us for more information on this). Neither the New World Technology SAGL Group nor any of its subcontractors sells the personal data of visitors and users of its Site.
ARTICLE 4 – Storage period
Your personal data is kept by New World Technology SAGL only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in point 2 above, which in any case cannot exceed 48 months if we no longer use it.
ARTICLE 5 – Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our General Terms and Conditions.
ARTICLE 6 – Services provided by third parties
In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us. Part of our solution uses service providers for technologies such as hosting platforms, content and data storage, and banking transaction management. New World Technology SAGL has previously ensured that its service providers implement adequate guarantees and respect strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and data protection. These are stored in the data archiving system and databases of these providers. Your data is stored on a secure server.
Your credit card information is encrypted according to the data security standard established by the payment card industry. The information relating to the purchase transaction is kept for the time necessary to complete the order. Once the order is finalized, the information relating to the purchase transaction is cancelled.
All direct payment gateways are PCI-DSS compliant, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of companies like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
The requirements of the PCI-DSS standard ensure the secure handling of credit card data by our store and its service providers.
Some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we collect.
ARTICLE 7 - Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, misappropriated, accessed, disclosed, altered or inappropriately destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted through the use of the SSL security protocol and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
ARTICLE 8 – Age of consent
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have given us your consent to allow any minors in your care to use this website.
